WE ARE NOT A POLITICAL ORAGNISATION. Our allegiance is to Pakistan and to the people of Pakistan only. The group was started by like minded individuals who came together in response to the national crisis precipitated by the imposition of 2007 Emergency. This we believe was a blatant violation of the fundamental rights of the people of Pakistan.

CCP wants Pakistan to be a place where a person from anywhere in the world would feel privileged to live, and not one where they endure because they simply have no option. We believe Pakistani citizens have a choice in front of them, either they can pull up their sleeves and get involved in helping the country in whatever capacity they can, or they can just sit idle and claim nothing can be done.

We strongly believe, "All that is necessary for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing."

So we appeal to you good people of Pakistan to not allow evil to succeed, not to succumb to apathy, come forth and be counted. CCP members come from all walks of life, including lawyers, doctors, teachers, students, architects, mechanics, sweepers, security guards, professionals and businessmen.

But we need more! In particular we would encourage members of all political parties to join CCP and work with us in promoting CCP values to the larger community. We see no conflict between holding a particular political view and also contributing to the betterment of the country.
