Subject: Report on use of funds for Saidu Gov. Hospital

Dear friends and supporters at CCP,

I want to convey my heartfelt and sincere gratitude for your trust and support of Swat Relief Initiative this summer . We really appreciated your timely and prompt response to our plea for the Maternity ward in Saidu Government Hospital. Your willingness to hire staff for the hospital has prompted others to help as well. When we let the Rotary Club of Peshawar know of the plight of the hospital and made them aware of your support, they have agreed to donate up to 1.5 million Rupees to renovate and expand the labor room. After telling NRSP of your support they have also donated 20,000 dollars to buy equipment for the labor room. The maternity ward should be now in good shape with the renovation, new equipment and new staff- which will all be monitored by our organization. The two doctors, we have hired, will be monitoring the Maternity Ward and giving us weekly reports of the situation there. In addition, our staff in the HDF/SRI Community Health Center will also be paying surprise visits to the Ward. We also have a couple of volunteers working for us, who are midwifes, who will be doing an internship in the maternity ward. These midwives will also be reporting to us as additional monitors.

I hope CCP and SRI will have many opportunities in the future to work together to improve the lives of the underprivileged population in Pakistan.

First I would like to appreciate & want to pay thanks to you & your supportive people who helped CHARSADDA people in such a critical & disaster conditions .Only you & your kind friends supported our peoples in food & cloths 6 to 7 times & I think now that it was best support from your side ,even the government & no other N.G.O supported our people.

Dear Bilal if possible my request is to you for medical kits ,blankets ,beds & for kitchen set instead of food items .
